His biography said that his father, Mustapha Maher was a singer in his hometown, Tripoli, Lebanon. His family moved to Sweden when he's only eight where he continues his schooling. Maher got his first keyboard when he was ten. He later entered university and got Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering. During his teenage years, Maher liked to spend late nights at school with his friends where they would sing, rap, compose and experiment with music in every way. And if I'm not mistaken, the song "Thank You Allah" was written base on his life.
